Sovereignty is a Scottish political party, which was founded in 2020 on the 700th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Arbroath. Formerly known as Restore Scotland, the party contested both the 2021 Scottish Parliament elections, and the 2022 Local Council elections.
Sovereignty stands for the independence of Scotland from the UK and EU; the liberty of the individual; the value and the autonomy of the family; the sanctity of human life; and, the health and wellbeing of the people of Scotland.
Currently, we have branches in Aberdeenshire, Dundee, Glasgow and South Lanarkshire, and we are opening new branches as soon we reach a critical mass of members in different areas of Scotland.
The primary governing forum of the party is our annual Congress, participation in which is open to paid-up members.
In addition, we convene a National Assembly to research independence and other policy areas; to produce research and policy reports; and, and to provide policy recommendations to Congress.
You can follow Sovereignty on Facebook and Twitter, and this website is regularly updated with new content, including articles from party members.
If you would like to contribute to the fight for a truly independent Scotland; to stand for election as a Sovereignty candidate; to contribute to the development of policy; and, to be a part of an friendly and growing community of likeminded Scots, then join today!
Full membership of the party is open to all those aged sixteen and over who share most or all of the party’s Tenets and Objectives, who are or have been resident in Scotland, and who are on the UK Electoral Roll.
