Our People

Sovereignty places great emphasis on community development and local activism. There are lots of great opportunities for members to get involved, including standing for election as a Sovereignty candidate; branch development; joining a policy development council, or serving on the NEC.


2024 Westminster Elections

In the 2024 UK General Elections, Sovereignty is standing candidate in two constituencies:

Arbroath and Broughty Ferry: Moira BROWN

West Dunbartonshire: Kelly WILSON

2022 Local Elections

In the 2022 Local Council Elections, Sovereignty stood candidates in several council areas.

Policy Development

Local Branches

Currently, Sovereignty has active branches in four Scottish council areas: Aberdeenshire, Dundee, Glasgow and South Lanarkshire. We are also in the process of starting a branch for members in more distant locations.
