Stand for Sovereignty!

We are currently accepting applications from members to stand as a candidate for Sovereignty forthcoming national elections, and UK general elections, as well as looking to identify potential by-election candidates.

Future National Elections

The next Scottish Parliament election is scheduled for Thursday, 7 May 2026, although it is conceivable that there may be an extraordinary general election in the meantime. In consequence, we are currently accepting applications from committed local members, who would be interested in starting the process of building momentum locally.

The Next UK General Election

The next UK General Election must be held no later than 23 January 2025. Given the possibility of the election being called in the interim, we would encourage you to make an expression of interest to our Nominating Officer, Brian Nugent, if you would like to start preparing in advance for standing in your local area.

The Scottish UK Parliamentary Constituencies are currently subject to a boundary review, and a list will be added to this page following their approval no later than 1 July 2023.
